St. Patrick Catholic Elementary School is equipped with accessible classrooms and facilities to meet the needs of all students including:

  • Accessible parking spaces
  • Hands-free doors, thresholds and ramps that can accommodate wheelchairs, scooters, etc.
  • Accessible shower and washroom facilities
  • Access to schools in the Board that have a Snoezelen room - a safe, non-threatening environment of sensory experiences for qualified students, that enhance therapy, learning and relaxation for students with special needs
  • Classrooms, that are available through our Board, designed specifically to meet the needs of autistic students

In addition, the Board's Special Education Services can provide physical accommodation of our school building and playgrounds, if necessary, as well as special transportation, and prescribed equipment as assessed by occupational therapists, physiotherapists, speech-language pathologists, etc.
